The Real Danger of Worshiping People, That Which Is Already Moving

The danger of worshiping people—or of wanting to be worshiped—is that we give a fixed image to time.

And this is an illusion.

The image is already dead, it’s already over.

People, through ego—a solidified sense of self—want to be loved. They want to be praised. They even want to be ridiculed. We have self-evidence of this because we do it to ourselves.

The experience of ridicule is being allowed.

But experience isn’t ridicule.

Ridicule is ridicule.

Just as love is love. Humanity is humanity.

And anyone who seeks to praise their humanity through its attributes eventually loses themselves in those attributes.

This is the danger of praising people: you are lifting up something that is already dead.

Why would you do this if you knew how alive you were?

If you knew how abundant and infinite you were?

You wouldn’t.

You would simply walk in direct experience.

Whatever comes into that experience is known, but it is neither honored nor shamed.

It is.

The more you walk in direct experience, the more you are saved from the concept of separation, because separation simply isn’t true.

And neither is your experience of it.

No matter how much you try to convince the world that it is.
