When we experience defense, we aren’t experiencing fear.
There is no fear when we live in the presence of God.
In the presence of light.
This light is easy.
It gives us permission, until we can hold it permanently, to experience life in all its expression.
Take away the story.
The upset.
The regret.
And what remains is what we are walking in.
Light.
It’s the only thing that exists.
What we call darkness is simply a place where we haven’t made peace yet.
An assumption.
A belief about a person.
A system we find broken and incomplete.
Whatever “this” thing is that we are experiencing in the mind, it is life.
Walking in that life requires patience.
The patience to experience life before we act.
To allow life to be purified before we act.
This is clarity.
And when we act from this place, we don’t have regrets.
Regret doesn’t exist here.
Fear doesn’t exist here.
Only in fear do these things exist.
And the panacea for fear is love.
Not resistance.
Defensiveness is resistance.
Fortunately for us, we can feel.
We feel when it is happening.
And when we slow down and live in this everlasting, abundantly free and fast-moving life, we can enter into any consciousness and meet it for what it is.
We can know it.
We can speak its language.
But we don’t stay there.
We meet it without resistance, and wall dissolves as we speak.
There is gentleness in this speaking.
A kindness that cannot be manufactured by a person alone.
Alone in the wilderness of our assumptions and our prejudice, we begin to believe we must push back to win.
But we work with what is given us.
We alter the experience of mind.
The time of mind.
When we feel our body, we know this is happening.
And we return.
Over and over again, we return to our true nature.
And those we experience, both in our mind and what appears outside of it, benefit.
They are healed.
It doesn’t matter the distance.
It doesn’t matter the time.
Healing transcends even the toughest defense and the coldest heart.
Because those who enter the kingdom know:
It doesn’t exist.
It simply doesn’t exist.
