Nothing Is Wrong With You

It is natural, when someone abandons us, cheats on us, betrays our trust, is disloyal to us, or harms us in any way, to immediately turn inward and ask: What is wrong with me?

This is one of the most human reactions we have. We search ourselves for the reason someone could not see us, could not choose us, could not love us the way we needed to be loved.

But the answer is this:

Nothing is wrong with you.

Nothing is wrong with you, and nothing is wrong with your humanity.

You are experiencing life as it unfolds. You are encountering the moments that shape every human being — moments of loss, disappointment, heartbreak, confusion, and pain. These experiences are not evidence of your unworthiness. They are not a definition of your value. They are not a reflection of your essence.

They are what you experience.

They are not who you are.

Your life will bring moments that challenge you, moments that break open parts of you that you did not know existed, moments where everything feels wrong and nothing feels certain. But even in those moments, you remain whole.

You are still you.

You navigate these experiences both alone and together — alone in the quiet places within yourself where you must find your own healing, and together with the people who love you, support you, and nurture you when the world feels like it is falling apart.

Because there will be times when everything feels wrong.

Times when nothing makes sense.

Times when you question everything you believed about yourself, about others, and about life.

And yet, beneath all of it, there is something untouched.

The part of you that exists before the betrayal.

Before the abandonment.

Before the pain.

The part of you that was always worthy.

The part of you that was always whole.

Life does not happen to prove something is wrong with you.

Life happens to reveal, deepen, and transform you.

And through every experience of you, the beautiful ones and the painful ones, you are still loved and you are still becoming.
