It All Began With a Woman

Everything came through a woman.

Not because woman exists apart from man, but because the feminine is the receiver of life.

It is the place where creation enters.

The space where imagination takes form.

The opening through which the unseen becomes seen.

The feminine is not a gender. It is a movement within all of life. It is the willingness to receive, to nurture, to allow something greater than the self to emerge.

It is one side of a single reality appearing as two.

When the feminine is judged, rejected, or silenced, it does not disappear.

It grows louder.

It appears as pain.

As fear.

As violence.

As suffering.

What is denied continues seeking expression.

Religion is anything repeated until it becomes identity.

A thought.

A belief.

A way of seeing.

A way of being.

What we think, say, and do over and over again becomes the structure through which we experience ourselves. And when identity becomes rigid, the spirit has less room to move.

We stop receiving.

We stop listening.

We stop allowing life to enter.

It is often said that a man is meant to place the woman in his life first. But he cannot truly receive her if he has rejected the feminine within himself.

If he has shut down his own ability to feel, to receive, and to surrender, he will fight what stands before him because he is fighting what exists within him.

He does nothing to her that he has not first done to himself.

The way he speaks to her reveals the way he speaks to himself.

The way he controls her reveals the way he fears himself.

The way he rejects her reveals the places where he has rejected his own life.

Gentleness is the most powerful force on earth because gentleness does not fight against what is.

It meets the self with peace.

It does not argue with existence.

It does not demand that life become something else before it can be loved.

The feminine is received within him, and through that receiving he becomes aware of himself.

He becomes whole.

He is no longer protected only by his own will.

He is held by something greater.

He is protected by God because he has surrendered to it.

When a man surrenders his will to life, he is redeemed through the presence of a woman.

Not because she saves him.

But because she reflects back to him the part of himself he has forgotten.

The presence of a woman becomes the presence of himself.

One circle.

One consciousness.

One life.

Honored by a God who is neither man nor woman, but the living Presence moving through all things.

The same Presence that breathes through creation.

The same Presence that moves through love.

The same Presence that waits within every person willing to receive.

Alive.

Living.

Present.
