When people come into your life, it is not by mistake.
It is not an accident.
Every person who enters our story awakens something within us. Sometimes they reveal something we already knew but had not yet fully understood. Sometimes they bring forward parts of ourselves that have been waiting to be seen.
There are times when we move through life almost asleep—walking, working, performing, and fulfilling our obligations, but disconnected from the deeper parts of ourselves. We can become the living dead, moving through our days without truly experiencing them.
Then someone comes along, and something awakens.
A feeling we have not experienced in years.
A part of ourselves we thought was gone.
A desire, a longing, a hope, a truth we had forgotten.
This is why relationships can be so powerful. It is also why affairs begin. It is why arguments begin. People awaken something within us, and in our human nature, we often respond by trying to possess, control, reject, or act upon what has been awakened.
But the awakening itself is not the problem.
The awakening is life revealing something.
It is consciousness reminding us that we are still alive.
I do not create it.
I do not end it.
And neither do you.
When we understand our place in this world, we begin to walk with a strength that does not fail us. It does not fail others because it does not operate as humans do. It does not depend upon control, possession, or the fulfillment of our expectations.
But when we lose the need to project our lives onto something outside of ourselves—when we stop searching for wholeness through the approval, attention, or presence of another—we begin to recognize our unity with life itself.
This is true for anyone who chooses to use their experiences as opportunities for growth, peace, love, and the greater good. Their lives become a testimony to something greater moving through them.
A God who is revealed through people.
Through circumstances.
Through moments.
Through all of life.
But God does not stop there.
It continues.
And so do we.
Through time.
Through change.
Through loss.
Through joy.
Through life itself.
Surround yourself with people who return your life back to you—not people who convince you that you need them to be whole, but people who remind you of the truth already within you.
The way.
The truth.
The life.
It exists everywhere there is an open heart and an open mind.
