When you place your mind upon your heart and ask it to reveal what has been waiting for you since before the ages, answers begin to emerge. They are not always the answers the world expects, nor are they always the ones others are ready to hear. They call you toward a path that feels deeply familiar, as though you have always known it.

You knew this as a child. Before fear, expectation, and the opinions of others settled into your thinking, there was a quiet knowing. Then people entered your life with their fears, their good intentions, their disappointments, and their beliefs about what your life should become. Little by little, it becomes easy to mistake their voice for your own.

Not everyone will celebrate the life unfolding within you. Some will respond with encouragement, while others may respond with envy, insecurity, anger, belittlement, or quiet discouragement. Often, these reactions say more about the burdens they carry than the path you are walking.

There is wisdom in protecting what is still growing. A seed is not unearthed each day to prove it is alive. It is covered, nourished, and allowed to develop in silence until it is strong enough to emerge on its own.

Guard your vision. Hold your dreams close. Build them quietly within yourself. Continue doing the work you were given to do, whether anyone understands it or not.

In time, what is genuine will reveal itself. The harvest always arrives in its season, and when it does, it is often greater than you imagined and more beautiful than you ever hoped.
