Sexuality is one expression of life’s creative movement, but it is not the whole of it.
Every moment of life is an exchange.
When you speak, you offer something into the world, and you receive a response. When you listen, you receive another life into your own. When you create, you give form to what was once invisible. Giving and receiving are woven into the fabric of existence itself.
Sexuality belongs to this same movement. It is not a fixed identity but an expression of life, and like every expression of spirit, it moves. There are seasons of longing and seasons of stillness, moments of desire and moments of contentment. Life has its own rhythm, and no single moment defines the whole.
Much of what people argue about is not sexuality itself, but the identities they build around it.
An idea arises within consciousness. The mind names it. The body responds. Then the self either clings to it or rejects it. Suppression, hatred, and prejudice do not resolve this movement. They often deepen it, because resistance gives permanence to what was always meant to pass.
What we condemn in another often reveals something we have not yet made peace with within ourselves.
This does not mean we surrender discernment or abandon choice. On the contrary, we are entrusted with the freedom to choose what we cultivate, what we express, and what we allow to take root in our lives.
When the self is no longer at war with itself, it has far less need to wage war with others.
Acceptance is not agreement with every impulse.
Acceptance is the willingness to see clearly without fear.
From that place, we are free to choose what we give to the world, and free to receive what life offers in return.
