The Temple Within

The body is the temple of the soul, yet it is not visible to the eyes of this world. It can only be seen through inward sight, through a quiet knowing that does not belong to the mind.

This knowing is not knowledge you acquire. It is knowledge you remember. It has always been present, waiting not to be learned but revealed.

This is not the physical body that people adorn with possessions, titles, and appearances. It is an unseen sanctuary—a living structure that guards your peace, steadies your voice, and guides your steps. It is the inner protector, stronger than any human strength because it does not rely upon force. It protects without fear, guides without command, and shields without judgment.

It has no gender, no title, no history. It cannot be elevated by praise or diminished by criticism. It simply is.

No one can enter it, and no one can leave it, because it is not separate from life. It is the silent foundation from which all life arises and to which all life belongs.

The “you” I speak of is not your name, your history, your possessions, or the personality you have gathered over a lifetime. It is not the image you defend or the identity you have learned to protect.

It is the one entrusted with the temple.

Within you is an unseen city, stronger than any fortress and more enduring than any kingdom. It guards the most precious foundation—not with walls of stone, but with a presence that cannot be broken. It is the dwelling place of peace, the hidden sanctuary from which every true word, every true movement, and every true act of love emerges.

You do not own this temple.

You serve it.

You remember it.

You become available to it.

The temple does not belong to you, yet it cannot be shared without your participation. Through your seeing, it becomes visible. Through your voice, it becomes heard. Through your life, it becomes known.

It is the truth that embraces all things, all people, all life.

The highest calling is not to build the temple, but to remain faithful to it; not to possess the truth, but to allow the truth to live through you. In doing so, the unseen becomes visible, the eternal becomes intimate, and the mystery finds expression in the world.

The temple has always been here.
