We Were Created to Become Love

We often enter relationships hoping to receive love, not realizing we were created to become its expression.

The world quietly teaches us otherwise. It offers countless systems built upon conditions: be this, don’t do that; belong here, not there; obey this, reject that. Whenever life is turned against itself through fear, exclusion, or condemnation, love has not disappeared—it has simply changed form. It has become punishment.

Punishment without a reservoir of healing does not end suffering. It perpetuates it. It travels through generations, across families, religions, cultures, and nations until no one remembers where it began.

Perhaps it began the moment someone looked at life itself, formed an interpretation, and declared that interpretation to be the only truth.

From that moment, ideas hardened into identities. Identities became doctrines. Doctrines became laws. Laws became traditions. Traditions became the unquestioned inheritance of future generations.

None of these things are inherently wrong. The danger begins when the symbol replaces the reality, when the map becomes more sacred than the landscape it was meant to describe.

The way of life is not a fixed system. It is not a concrete object that can be possessed or defended. It is the ability to look through every object, every belief, every person, and every circumstance until you recognize the same life expressing itself in different forms.

To see God is not merely to look upward. It is to see wholeness where division once seemed certain, acceptance where judgment demanded separation, and love where conditioning could perceive only enemies.

Conditioning blinds us. Our eyes become clouded by certainty. Our hearts become fixed. Our spirits become bound to the identities we mistake for ourselves.

So how do we return?

That question has echoed through every spiritual tradition. The man we now call Jesus Christ answered it with remarkable simplicity. Open your heart. Open your mind. Become willing to receive life before rushing to interpret it.

Do not abandon thought. Simply let awareness come first.

Truth arrives long before the mind explains it.
