When love reveals itself, it is doing so in and beyond your circumstances. The woman who has endured unspeakable things—love made it possible, and love makes it evident. This is not the kind of evidence I look for in my work in law enforcement: just the facts, just the facts. This is a different kind of evidence. The evidence of a woman’s life, her existence, being expressed and experienced in real time.
It can be difficult to understand, and even more difficult to accept, that love is all there is when a person is in resistance to themselves—their experience, the world they perceive as outside of them, a God in the clouds, or another person in front of them.
Duality is the form love takes when it is divided into pieces. It is a woman split in two: the woman she wants to be—free, happy, able to experience pleasure without pain, without memory—and the woman she believes she is now.
And yet love holds both. Love makes both possible. Love is also the one quietly giving her what she is asking for through where she places her attention.
There must be accountability and confession in the process of resting in love, of trusting peace to carry you through shame, fear, hollowness, hatred, and even strength itself. Not as a denial of those states, but as the discovery that something has always been carrying you through them.
Love has been providing for you all along.
It loves you enough to let you see this in your own time, in your own way, within your own circumstances.
God bless you as you move along. God bless you as you find the path, the way, the truth, and the life.
