An Angel Gets Its Wings

An angel gets its wings the day it learns the beauty of “okay.”
Okay, I will accept this. Okay, I will work with this.

Emotion and perception soften beneath that tiny word, a word that carries within it the song of ages: pleasure and pain, distaste and war. Inside it lives the art of surrender—the bridge from the ordinary to the possible, from the wounded to the well.

“Okay” is the open doorway to peace, the place where all things are allowed to flow. It does not choose between war or harmony, conflict or forgiveness. It simply gives, and returns, teaching us how the fallen grow their wings and how the brave step into the light.
