What We Call Evil Isn’t Always So

People often describe the wonders of the world in simple dimensions—up and down, back and forth, in and through. But intelligence does not exist in such limited terms. It lives at the root of all things. Where there is evil, there is also intelligence; where there is life, there is restoration. This suggests that what we call “evil” is not always inherently so. More often, it reflects a lack of openness or understanding. When we close ourselves off, we limit our experience of a life that is constantly expanding. The less we try to control it, and the more we learn to move with it, the more fully we begin to understand it.
