When a person speaks from ego, they reveal a part of themselves they believe in more than freedom—more, even, than God. It is a hasty and corrosive place, one others fail to see clearly when emotions run high and God is set aside.
A person who speaks only of themselves is, in truth, speaking to something within you. And you must decide how you will meet it—how you will respond to what is stirred to life inside you, now brought forward for all the world to witness, to judge, to shame… or simply to see.
